Gay Rights, Do it exist in India ?

Gays Rights in India  People around the world face violence and inequality and even torture , because of who they love, how they look , or who they are, sexual orientation and gender identity are integral aspects of our selves and should never lead to discrimination or abuse.

Everyone in this world has right to live be it a girl , boy, lesbian , gays or bisexual. We exposes abuse based on sexual orientation and gender identity worldwide, including torture, killing and execution, arrest under unjust laws, medical abuses.

We should try for the world where all people can enjoy their rights fully.


Chief justice A.P SHAH declares SECTION – 377, as it pertains to consensual sex among people above the age of 18 , in violation of important parts of india constitution, “ consensual sex amongst adults is legal, which includes even gay sex and sex among the same sexes


  • The old law violates Article 14 of the constitution which guarantees all people “equality before the law

  • Article 15 – prohibit discrimination “on grounds of religion , race, caste, sex or place of birth.

  • Article 21- which guarantees “protection of life and personal liberty”


  1. Western countries like to oppose homosexuals too, the west has no shortage of moral police types, who spend their lives trying to dictate how others should live.
  2. Non- western countries have embraces gays rights, it would be easier for a gay couple to get married in Nepal right now than in most parts of the UNITED states.
  3. In India , it was the British who criminalized homosexuality , not the Indians.
  4. Equality and basic human rights are not exclusively western principles.


Gays all over the world deserve to be treated  with dignity and respect hoping that homosexuality remains legal for good the most important task ahead is to educate the public and raise public awareness about sexual minorities . but gays rights need the support of national and state government , which need to be secular , long-term outlook and invest the necessary resources.
