TOP 5 REASONS WHY ABHINANDAN WAS RELEASED BY PAKISTAN IN SHORT SPAN

TOP 5 REASONS WHY ABHINANDAN WAS RELEASED BY PAKISTAN IN SHORT SPAN

1. ISOLATION OF PAKISTAN BY INDIA

One of the TOP 5 REASONS WHY ABHINANDAN WAS RELEASED BY PAKISTAN IN SHORT SPAN is the isolation of Pakistan by India Huge sections of society believes that the quick release of Abhinandan was due to the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The other small section does believe that it is due to some political or diplomatic channel of the government, which was the reason behind Abhinandan’s release.

Over the years, India has maintained relationships with other powerful nations such as US, Australia, France, some UAE countries by gaining their confidence and Japan. These countries have worked as a backbone during the time of emergency. Strong Backing as well as support from all these countries has helped the motive to isolate Pakistan. This proved out to be a strong reason why the Wing Commander Abhinandan was released in a short span of time.

2. NO TOLERANCE TOWARDS TERRORISM

After the fateful attack of Pulwama, The prime minister clearly quoted in his speech that such an act will not be tolerated anymore and the mastermind behind this attack along with his fellows shall be facing dreadful consequences. This portrayed his zero tolerance towards terrorism due to which Pakistan knelt down on it’s knees and had to release the Commander.
Time and again, all the powerful nations have held back their hands to support Pakistan in any form and hence these nations are coming all as one to join hands against terrorism.

3. GENEVA CONVENTION

Geneva conventions lays down the rights of PoW (Prisoner or War) which says that any enemy prisoner on territory of the other nation should we well taken care of and given full protection against any wrongdoings.
Since Pakistan was bound by this convention, it had no other option but to release the Wing commander Abhinandan. Portraying his release as a peace gesture is just another rant by Pakistan.  They could not have taken any other derogatory step.

4. PAKISTAN GOING BANKRUPT

Due to recent happenings and terror attacks by Pakistan, the stock exchange in Pakistan has gone down to almost 10% and the country at current holds only approximately $7 billion which is roughly half a trillion that India has right now. After the pulwama attack, Pakistan has been majorly hit by food supply in its country. Pakistan realized that it was loosing on all fronts and since all countries denied any financial help it had no other way but to accept that if they continue this, it would prove to be detrimental to them.

5. USE OF F-16 AND VETO POWER COUNTRIES

US sold F-16’s to Pakistan on certain conditions. Those included that Pakistan would use these fighter planes for tackling the counter-terrorism operations and not otherwise. Despite the condition, Pakistan used the jet, which pissed off US followed by a statement that it won’t lend Pakistan a single penny in case they needed financial help. Also all the veto power countries of United Nations including UK, France, and US, which have been demanding the Security Council to ban JeM chief Masood Azhar which clearly shows that they are in support of India to curb terrorism and actions of JeM.
